In the heart of the municipality of Ponte Caldelas, the archaeological site of Tourón contains one of the most unique open-air rock art sites in Galicia. This large area of 15 hectares offers the possibility of visiting five rock art locations following a route with breathtaking views. It includes an interpretation centre that enriches the visitor experience with a permanent exhibition about the lifestyle of the communities that lived there from the 3rd to the 2nd millennium BCE. Visits are welcome by appointment.
