This interpretation centre allows visitors to explore the profession of the borreiro, i.e., the chandler. It provides information on the candle-making process: from the first wax factories, the honey bees, to the different methods to obtain the raw material, the making of yellow wax in the press, the whitening of the wax, the creation of candles and their commercialisation.
