Church built during the 12th century originally of Romanesque style that preserves nowadays part of the portal and lateral walls from that period. The rest of it is posterior and of Baroque style, as we see on the pinnacles and the double bell-gable that tops the façade. It has a Latin cross floor plan and keeps the rectangular apse. On the portal it has an archivolt and part of another that could be the original one, as the rest seems to have been built later. The archivolts are supported by two pillars decorated with capitals with vegetal motifs. The interior one also seems to have been done after the originals. The decoration of the tympanum is very similar to that of other Romanesque churches that were modified later on, like the church of Santa María of Tourón, in Ponte Caldelas. On it there are several fleurs-de-lis. Over the portal there is a commemorative plaque in honour of Saint Pelagious, considered a favourite child of the parish as there are rumours that he could have been born there.
