The Romanseque Routes let visitors discover the history surrounding ancient monasteries and churches, compare constructive traditions and guess the meaning of the symbols and inscriptions sculpted on the stone blocks.
It follows the trail of the stonemasons, who —from the year 1000— built a new landscape out of stone in the surroundings of Compostela.
A total of 19 buildings dating from the 10th to 13th centuries.
Route 1: San Miguel de Moreira, San Martiño de Riobó, Santo Estevo de Oca, Santa María de Loimil, San Pedro de Orazo, San Cristovo de Remesar, Santo Tomé de Ancorados, San Pedro de Ancorados, Santo Estevo de Lagartóns.
