This spot allows you to reach the River Ulla thanks to its proximity to the mouth, which is calm and sedate. At this point, it deposits some of the sediment collected along its way, giving rise to island-like alluvial deposits in the middle of the river and small beaches along the banks. Close to the Ulla marshlands, the flora and fauna of this particular habitat form ecosystems of immense ecological value: the brañas (fields), meadows, and reedbed make the mouth of the River Ulla an Area of Natural Interest, included in the Natura 2000 Network. This Ulla-Deza Fluvial System is a Site of Community Importance (LIC). The area's development and facilities have turned it into a great recreation and leisure zone for visitors, providing a cafe, barbecue area with tables, children's playground, swimming area, large lawns, and even an open-air auditorium. It also has a lifeguard service during high season
