Comboa Bridge crosses the River Verdugo in the parish of San Salvador de Soutomaior, connecting the villages of Comboa and Romariz.
Of medieval origin, the bridge dates from the 13th–14th centuries. Built of stone, it features three arches of different sizes and is reinforced by buttresses supporting its structure.
The bridge stands in an attractive riverside setting, close to the confluence of the Verdugo and Oitavén rivers. From here, visitors can enjoy a pleasant walk along the river towards Poza das Bestas and its suspension bridge.
Thanks to its historical, architectural and scenic interest, Comboa Bridge is one of the notable examples of Soutomaior's civil heritage.
