Saint Eulalia or Saint Baia is located in Caldelas, around 1 km away from Ponte Caldelas. The parish set is formed by a Romanesque church, a rectory house and a beautiful garden with interesting decorative elements that were part of the primitive church, possibly of Romanesque origin.   This church has a Latin cross floor plan with a chancel covered by a barrel vault ornamented with a grid design, the arms that form the sacristy and chapel of the Immaculate Conception are covered by a rib vault, while the main nave is covered by a groin vault.   The Baroque façade is formed by two bodies. The first one with a door and a niche that houses a sculpture of Saint Catherine of Siena. An oculus with a polychromatic stained glass design of Saint Catherine completes this body, flanked by two pilasters attached to the façade wall. A cornice with a protruding pediment separates the two bodies. The upper one is crowned by a tower built in 1891, replacing the former one that had been destroyed by lightening in 1889. The tower is formed by three bodies. The first one is attached to the pediment, while the second and the third are circled by a stone balustrade. Inside the central body there are four bells. It's crowned by a small vault and topped by a pinnacle and a cross. Inside, we must highlight the main altarpiece and the lateral ones. The main was created by Manuel González Perdiz in 1893 in a baroque style from the 18th century. The lateral ones also recreate that style and were finished a year later.   The body of the church is divided in three longitudinal sections or naves, separated by pillars. The chancel, the main and most sacred part of the church, is a prolongation of the central nave. The church is located in the same place where there was before another older and smaller one, preserved until 1689. Next to it, a small chapel dedicated to Our Lady of Consolation was built in 1630 by the order of the rector Silvestre Portela, still preserved in the parish. From the primitive temple, the only visible remains are the anthropomorphic sepulchre located at the foot of the atrium stairs and the old baptismal font. The atrium that circles the church has a garden of French style.
