The destination Rías Baixas covers the whole province of Pontevedra. It is situated in the southern part of Galicia, a region in the north-western part of the Iberian Peninsula. As Rías Baixas borders the provinces of A Coruña and Lugo to the north, separated by the Ulla River. To the south, the Miño River, the largest in Galicia, marks the border with Portugal. The provinces of Pontevedra and Ourense (to the east) share the hills of O Candán and O Cando. To the west, As Rías Baixas borders the Atlantic Ocean.
