Turismo Rías Baixas offers 120 free limited-edition ecopacks with seed bombs containing Hierbas de San Juan 'St. John's Wort', Brisa Atlántica 'Atlantic Breeze' and Brezo 'Heather'.
To obtain your gift you must fill in the form here with your personal details. It will be available from 15th december at 09.00 hours to 31th. Gifts will be granted on a first come, first served basis using the stocks last method. Turismo Rías Baixas will contact the lucky persons, who can pick up the ecopack at our main office (Palacete de las Mendoza, Pontevedra) or at the headquarters of the Deputación in Vigo.
Small atlantic forest
The gift caused a sensation this year at the presentation of our destination at the World Tourism Fair in Madrid (Fitur). It contains the aroma of our woods, which will make you feel like travelling to As Rías Baixas while you grow these seeds at home. The biodiversity seed booms were made following the Nendo Dango system, which protects them for long periods. The clay and the natural fertilizers covering these seeds allow them to grow successfully to create this small Atlantic forest
The packet is natural and reusable, to reduce waste, with a small wooden box manufactured at the Juan María Centre in Nigrán, an institution that provides support, training and job opportunities for people with intellectual disabilities.
Ephemeral mural
Moreover, this box is part of an ephemeral mural composed of 500 units. Each one was hand painted by local artists Doa Oa and Elara Elvira, and now you can have a part of that unique work.
