Museo Massó
The museum dates back to 1816, when industrialist Salvador Massó Palau arrived in Bueu and established a salting factory. Afterwards the museum and a library related to the sea were housed in the factory. Its collections include items from the old 19th century-canning factory, such as objects related to the beginning of human cultural expression, archaeological remains, ethnographic and marine related objects, the first cans, manufacturing systems, machinery for salting, camshaft engines, etc. It also contains important documentary and bibliographic collections.
