Museo Catedralicio
This museum is housed in the Cathedral of Tui and occupies the Romanesque and Gothic Chapel of Saint Catherine. It is composed of objects from the cathedral’s treasure, such as a large collection of chalices, processional sceptres, sacred ornaments and many statues. Other noteworthy items include a monstrance created by Juan Nápoles Mudarra in 1602, a wooden polychromatic statue of the Virgin and Child from the late 14th century, a ciborium from the 15th century and a fragment of limestone from the former high altarpiece from 1520.
