Pesqueiras de Arbo
ArboPontevedra
The pesqueiras are centuries-old stone structures used to fish for lamprey and other fish in the Minho River. For the last several years, several enterprises in the region have promoted initiatives to preserve the heritage values associated with the human activity that took place on these riverbanks. These structures are situated on both riverbanks and sit partially on the river to facilitate the catching of fish, especially lamprey.
