Conjunto abacial de Barciademera
This abbey is comprised of three buildings: the church of San Martín, the Baroque chapel of San Juan de Mosteiro and the parsonage. The manor house seems to have been influenced by Aztec architecture, as evidenced by the atlas and the top section of the Baroque facade. It has a beautiful facade influenced by pre-Columbian cultures. The chimney, courtyard, gargoyles, lareira (a traditional Galician fireplace) and views of the fertile valley make this abbey one of the most important architectural ensembles in Galicia.
