Plaza de la Verdura
In the 19th century, the fábrica de la luz (transformer station) was erected in this Square, turning Pontevedra into one of the first Spanish cities to have this amenity. The surrounding buildings are of particular interest because of their balconies, and some typical old taverns with an outside terrace. This square also has a spring the same as the one in the Plaza de Curros Enríquez. The Plaza de A Verdura is between the Plaza de A Leña and the Plaze de Méndez Núñez
