Puente de Ledesma
A CapelaGres (Santiago)36587 Vila de CrucesPontevedra
It has nine granite masonry arches with regular keystones and tympanums. They do not have an impost on the transition to the parapet, as they possibly disappeared during one of the subsequent renovations. The vaults rest on masonry pillars with triangular starlings upstream and trapezoidal ones downstream. They are crowned by pyramidal pinnacles.
The slope is almost horizontal in the central part, going down towards the accesses, especially on the right side with arches with less light. The parapets and the granite cobblestone pavement are part of a later renovation, possibly in the 19th century.
