Área Arqueolóxica de Tourón
In the heart of the municipality of Ponte Caldelas, the archaeological site of Tourón contains one of the most unique open-air rock art sites in Galicia. This large area of 15 hectares offers the possibility of visiting five rock art locations comprised of a considerable amount of petroglyphs. Simple panels of cups, rings and zoomorphic figures appear next to more complex patterns, such as the Laxe das Cruces, which includes a large and diverse combination of geometric and naturalistic motifs
