Cascada de Parafita
In the town of Valga, the Ferreño, a tributary of the Valga River, runs through a narrow valley with various rapids and waterfalls. The main fall, Ruxidoira, of around 10 metres in height, is accessible to visitors thanks to the wooden walkways available.
This is an idyllic environment consisting of a thick indigenous wood and the unpredictable waters of the Ulla River, forming beautiful waterfalls. This space, peppered with mills and walkways, is an area of great scenic interest. The trail is 1 km long.
In order to get there from Valga, drive 4 km towards Pontevedra, and then take the detour to the left, indicating “Molinos de Parafita”.
