Mirador de Monte Beiro
BeiroCordeiro (Santa Comba)36647 ValgaPontevedra
From the vantage point located on Beiro mountain, at a height of just under 140 m, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the River Ulla Valley, close to the opening formed by the Arousa Estuary. There are also views over the mountain range of O Barbanza and the Oleirón, Meda and Xesteiras mountains. In addition to these views, this vantage point also boasts a restored windmill, a witness to the times when wind energy was of great importance. The windmill is in the middle of a pine forest. The surrounding areas of the vantage points form part of the Ecological Museum of Valga (Vilarello river beach, Parafita waterfalls, Mercé mine and Beiro mountain) which aim to foster the natural wealth of the area
