The archaeological site of A Cabeciña is located in the mountains of A Groba. It is made up of a castro (hillfort settlement) and a group of petroglyphs. The settlement was strategically situated 148 metres above sea level, with a defensive watchtower and an approximately 100-metre-long wall built to protect the enclosure of around 5,500 square metres. The site is particularly known for its impressive petroglyphs, evidence of the survival and occupation of the settlement for thousands of years.
