Milliarium from the early Roman period dating to the 2nd century BCE. It is a part of the Portuguese way of pilgrimage to Santiago and can be found at the end of the section that passes through the municipality of Mos. In the past it was also called Arada vella (‘Old Path’). This milliarium has cruciform motifs and it was the focus of superstitious rituals associated with fertility and luck
