Cabo Udra
This unique natural space is made up of the coast, lined with small beaches, and an area covered by an interesting coastal scrubland and a group of rocks with great scientific and landscape value. Visitors can enjoy the fresh air and open ocean of this natural paradise, but also discover an ancestral way of life and surround themselves with rich flora and fauna, which allowed this site to be part of the Natura 2000 network and a Special Protection Area of Natural Values.

Features
Located in Beluso, between the estuaries of Arousa and PontevedraNative terrestrial flora and fauna Herpetofauna is very diverse due to the heat in the area, with both Mediterranean and endemic species of the northwest of the peninsula, like the Iberian emerald lizard (Lacerta schreiberi). It is also a staging and wintering area for some seabirds and waders, particularly shags (Phalacrocorax aristotelis), great cormorants (Phalacrocorax carbo), several species of gulls (Larus spp.), terns (Sterna spp.) and ruddy turnstones (Arenaria interpres). Most noteworthy is the Balearic shearwater (Puffinus mauretanicus), which is critically endangered. Among the terrestrial avifauna there are common species of the shrubland, like the Dartford warbler (Sylvia undata) or the Sardinian warbler (Sylvia melanocephala).
In terms of flora, the vegetation of Udra consists of low shrubland, as it is an area of strong winds, salinity and too much sunshine.
